When I'm not cel hunting, I'm typically doing art, or taking photos. I've been doing art since I was a child, and I really enjoy taking photographs. I have 4 cats, that I love to death - they're my life (pictured below). I also have a boyfriend of 4 years, Brett, who is the best anyone could ask for.
I'm 21 years old, and currently in school for nursing. I'm a registered Patient Care Technician, and do private sitting jobs.
I was first introduced to cels when I was in the 8th grade, by a friend of mine's brother, who collected Tenchi Muyo cels of Washu. I can remember how good the acetate paint smelled, and how gorgeous the cels were. The excitement of my first cel - a cel of unconscious Belldandy - was unbelievable.
So, I collected for a year or so, but being in highschool at the time, I really didn't have the money for the cels I wanted, so I sold my collection and gave up. I picked up miscellaneous cels along the way, but nothing important, really.
Later on, after I graduated high school, Brett took me to Otakon in Baltimore. I saw Curt, and fell in love with cels all over again. For the past three years, I've been avidly collecting, and have built up a collection I am quite proud of.
